World map

Explore a flat world map or globe with saved observer coordinates, countries, cities, time-zone reference boundaries and the tropics.

Switch between a flat map and a globe, inspect latitude and longitude at the pointer, and zoom to the observer location saved in settings. Toggle country outlines, cities, dashed coordinate lines, the equator and tropics.

Generalized Natural Earth standard-offset time-zone regions provide geographic context. The saved observer readout uses its current IANA time-zone offset. The map is for regional exploration, not street-level navigation or resolving disputed borders.

Jewish Cosmology is an interactive research and educational web application connecting Hebrew dates, traditional Jewish calendar calculations and halachic concepts of time with the observable motions of the Sun, Moon and planets, astronomical seasons and eclipses.

JavaScript is required for the interactive explorers and calculations. The descriptions and navigation remain available without JavaScript.
